Ms. Gerkema's Mini Tiger Tales

Our class was excited to see and listen to some of the Barrie Colts.  They shared their experiences with the students and answered questions as well.   We even got to see Charlie horse their mascot!  The Colts have adopted our school and part of the proceeds from the December 17th game will be given to the school.  What a great opportunity for the students!

We had a dairy farmer come and talk to us about dairy farming and the importance of milk. We learned alot.

We are learning all about word problems. We can create a word problem and solve them. When answering we use pictures, math sentences and math words.
Parents don’t forget to have your child coorect and finish the math sent home and then send it back to school.
